A thriving ecosystem with over 70 companies, Brightlands enables research institutes and companies working together on research in the fields of healthy and safe food, future farming and the bio-circular economy to innovate faster and more efficiently and ensures that innovative start-ups can make their dreams come true.

The innovation themes that are at the foundation of the BCGV activities are:

Healthy and safe nutrition, Future farming and Bio-circular economy (with a cross-over into manufacturing and logistics). These themes cover a wide range of innovation topics, including, but not limited to:
