ABOUT US

In order to accelerate technological innovation and pushing boundaries, a strong drive and good funding are needed. De Breed & Partners supports innovative (food) companies in finding the required R&D budget for the development of technological innovations. Investormatch is part of The Breed & Partners and is the investment platform for start-ups and SME’s in the Netherlands. Investormatch has its own network of 650+ investors (Business Angels).

We speak the language of food-entrepreneurs and understand a variety of issues. In this way, we help entrepreneurs to find the right funding. With a team of 45 employees in Amsterdam and Breda we do everything we can to make technological innovation sustainable.

OUR MAIN INNOVATION GOALS

Depending on the operational phase of the company, various funding opportunities are available. With a wide range of financial instruments consisting of technology grants, tax arrangements (such as WBSO), informal investors, investment firms, working capital and crowdfunding, we are able to realize the most optimal funding mix for your company or food project.

The Agri, Horticulture and Food sector accelerate within the fields of innovation and productivity in the Netherlands. Therefore, it is not surprising that twelve of the forty most important food and beverage companies in the world have an establishment in the Netherlands, or undertake R&D activities here. Entrepreneurs in the Agri, Horticulture & Food sector may be eligible for various grants. De Breed & Partners is happy to help entrepreneurs identify the various financing options, so that they can expand their product and contribute to the Dutch food sector.

SPECIFIC INNOVATION NEEDS

All DB&P consultants have a background in software development or engineering. We are familiar with all Dutch and European grants and innovation programmes. We know which information is relevant for the application of grants and other financial arrangements. We assist you in meeting your financing needs. We do this by offering a financing scan, tailor-made advice and the right guidance throughout each stage of the process.

An overview of (a number of) funding opportunities in the food sector is highlighted on this page.
