KnÀrzje, the first organic zero-waste beer in Germany

Please welcome our first post of our new series; Brave New Startups! First one up is the German KnärzjeđŸ» 

"Knärzje" is the Hessian and Palatine name for the end piece of a loaf of bread which is the key ingredient in the first organic, zero-waste beer in Germany. During the climate neutral brewing process they substitute malt with surplus or almost discarded organic bread. The Knärzje gets a new appreciation in Knärzje. Get to know Knärzje and their needs:

What problem do you want to solve with your company?

A big one; food waste. We enlighten people about it with a delicious upcycled beer!

What are you looking for?

Investment, expertise in marketing and retail.

We would be open to work with, for example, KraftHeinz, Catalyze-group and Impact Hub.

What do you need to get to the next stage of your company?

We need money. Points of sale are growing fast, but we need investment to improve infrastructure to keep this development running.
